On 16.05.2023, a Kite Festival was held in the ancient city of Kremna. In the organization carried out by Çamlık Köyü Kavaklı Primary School and MAKÜ Bucak Hikmet Tolunay MYO Child Development Department, the children of Kavaklı had a great time. Prof. Dr. B. Ayça Polat Becks, the head of the Kremna Excavation from the MAKÜ Archaeology Department, guided the children and all participants around Kremna and explained the history of the region. The instructors of Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School, Lecturer Merve ALTUN and Lecturer Şaban HÖL, made kites for the children, and the students of the department accompanied them in costumes. The children, who had a picnic with the preparations of the parents in Çamlık Köyü, had an entertaining and educational day under the guidance of Emel Sağlam Balaban, the principal of Kavaklı Köyü Primary School, and their teachers. In addition to the instructors from the Kremna Excavation of the Burdur Archaeology Department, experts from the Burdur Museum and personnel from the Bucak District Gendarmerie Command also participated in the event, which ended in the afternoon.
