As Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School, we are experiencing the happiness of having held our Career Days event, which we organized for the 15th time this year, with high participation on May 7-8, 2025.
In this special event, which we organize traditionally every year and aim to contribute to our students' career journeys, we brought together leading representatives of the business world, social media content creators, and guests who share inspiring life stories with our students.
The first day of the event started with the participation of Mr. Ercan YAVAŞ, President of the Ankara Young Business People Association. His shares on entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development were followed with interest by our students.
The second session of the event was a scene of a meeting that made us proud. Türk Yıldızları team members Major Hasan KOCABAŞ, Lieutenant Fatih SAĞLAM, and Senior Master Sergeant İbrahim GENÇ shared with us the reflections of team spirit and leadership on the field. With their meaningful participation, they added value to our event.
On the second day of the event, social media phenomenon “Palanın Otağı” Mehmet EKEN shared his journey of conveying traditional cultural values to young people in a sincere manner. His evaluations on producing content in the digital world, attracting attention, and creating brand value particularly captured the interest of our students.
In the closing session of our event, the “2 Teker 2 Yürek” team Dilek CANDAR and Özgür CANDAR took the stage. With their travel stories that open different windows on life, they reminded our youth once again of the value of discovery, courage, and sharing.
In order to support the development of our students, the Career Days we organized this year not only achieved our goal of raising professional awareness but also created an atmosphere full of inspiration.
We thank all our administrative and academic staff, our students, and our esteemed guests who contributed to the realization of the event as the Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School family.
