The founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was commemorated on the 87th anniversary of his passing with a program organized at our school.
At our university, the ceremony organized within the scope of the November 10 Atatürk Memorial Day was conducted with a unity of emotion and meaning.
The program began at 09:05 with a moment of silence and the National Anthem. In the subsequent speeches, the leadership, foresight, and the values Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk brought to the Turkish nation were emphasized.
At the end of the ceremony, Atatürk's words “Oh rising new generation! The future is yours. We established the Republic, you are the ones who will elevate and sustain it.” were recalled, and the youth's determination to protect this legacy was once again expressed. In the closing, carnations prepared by our students were placed at the Atatürk bust, and a moment of silence was observed in respect for our ATAM.
