Transportation Services Department Gathered for MEDEK Accreditation Process

Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School Transportation Services Department held a meeting to evaluate the preparations for the MEDEK accreditation process of the Civil Air Transport Management Program and the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program.

Attending the meeting were Transportation Services Department Head Dr. Lecturer Ümmühan Beste YILDIRIM, Deputy Director and department faculty member Dr. Lecturer Bilgehan ÖZKAN, Lecturer Dr. Behiç ÇETİN, administrative staff Nurhan ÖZBEK, and Dr. Lecturer Durmuş ÇALIŞKAN, who previously served as the Quality Coordinator.

During the meeting, preparations for accreditation criteria, current situation analysis, strengthening of educational processes, sectoral compliance, quality assurance mechanisms, and evaluation of program outcomes were discussed. Additionally, comprehensive planning was made on the work needed to ensure full compliance of the two programs with MEDEK standards.

The Transportation Services Department stated that it aims to successfully complete the accreditation process and certify the programs within the scope of national quality assurance.
